1. Basic Sentence Pattern
Formula: N1 wa N2 desu = "N1 is N2"
Example: Watashi wa gakusei desu → I am a student.

2. Negative Sentence
Formula: N1 wa N2 dewa arimasen
Casual: ja arimasen
  • Tanaka-san wa gakusei dewa arimasen
    Mr. Tanaka is not a student

    Belonging: N1 no N2 = N2 of N1
